One
other casino rule comes into play on the Progressive payout.
The Bonus Payout is limited to an Aggregate payoff on the straight
flush and the royal flush. What this means is that on a straight
flush hand for example, a total of 10% will be paid out. Thus,
if two players hold a straight flush on the same deal, they
would split that 10%, in effect, getting only 5% each.
If the meter showed $12,000, the total pool of $1,200 for the
straight flush would be divided evenly between the two winners
at $600 each. This applies only to straight flush and royal
flush hands on progressive wagers, not to the bonus payouts
on the four of a kind, full house and flush hands, where each
player will receive the full amount listed.
The chances of two players holding a straight or royal flush
on the very same hand is so unlikely, quantum degrees more than
one hundred million to 1 against (the exact odds depending upon
how many other players are at the table), that this casino rule
shouldn't be of great concern to you.
